2 cups lukewarm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp salt
2 pkg yeast
6 1/2 cups flour, divided
2 eggs
1/3 cup shortening or butter
*Place water, sugar, salt, yeast, and 2 cups flour in a bowl. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and butter, beat 1 minute. Gradually add 4 1/2 cups flour, stir until firm. Allow dough to sit at least 20 minutes for easy handling.
*Roll out dough and spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll-up and slice vertically. Place on greased pan and let rise until almost double in size. (Or you can just put in a turned-off oven, covered, overnight)
*Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
