Peanut Butter Balls

My Grandma Soine made these every year for Christmas Eve when I was little, and always sent some home with me because I loved them so much.  It is not Christmas without Peanut Butter Balls!

~2 cups crunchy peanut butter (or 18oz jar) and 1 stick butter or margarine... cream together really well.

~Mix in: 3 cups powdered sugar & 3 cups Rice Krispies

~Form into balls.

~In double boiler (or microwave), melt: 6oz Hershey bars, 6 oz chocolate chips, 1-2 Tbsp shortening.

~Dip balls halfway in chocolate mixture, set on wax paper (on cookie sheet) and chill in fridge.
