oven-baked fried chicken

So this isn't fried at all, it's only cooked in the oven. The breading crisps up nicely, just like fried chicken, but without all the grease. Enjoy!

2/3 cup Bisquick mix
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 - 1/2 cup Romano cheese, shredded (I don't measure, I just dump)
egg mixture
2 Tbsp melted butter
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1. Heat oven to 425. Cover baking sheet with foil, spray with Pam.

2. Mix Bisquick, paprika, garlic salt, pepper, and cheese in large ziploc. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then transfer to ziploc. Shake well to coat.

3. Place chicken breasts on cookie sheet, drizzle with melted butter.

4. Bake 20-30 minutes until done (time varies as per thickness of chicken)

*Variation: cut chicken into strips and enjoy with a favorite dipping sauce!
